SASLA selects Harduth as new Chair

The South African 鶹ý Lending Association (SASLA) has welcomed the appointment of Hitesh Harduth as the new chairperson of the association.
The association says Harduth brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in securities finance to their new position, “making them an invaluable asset to our organisation”.
With over 19 years of experience in securities lending, Harduth has demonstrated “exceptional leadership” and a “deep commitment” to the growth of securities lending in Africa, notes SASLA.
Harduth will succeed Michael Wright as chairperson. Wright comments: “We are thrilled to have Hitesh Harduth as the new chair. Their visionary approach and strategic mindset align perfectly with our association’s mission and objectives.
“We are confident that under their leadership, we will achieve new milestones and continue to serve our industry effectively.”
Harduth recently spoke with 鶹ý Finance Times on their almost two decades with Standard Bank, where they reside as head of securities lending.
