LSF partners with Qantara AM
19 May 2025 Africa

The Liquidity and Sustainability Facility (LSF) has built a strategic research partnership with Qantara Asset Management to deliver specialised commentaries, insights, market intelligence, and analysis on African sovereign eurobonds.
David Escoffier, CEO of the LSF Secretariat, comments: "We're delighted to cooperate with Qantara AM, as we both share the same vision of thriving, liquid African capital markets.
“Their deep understanding of sovereign dynamics across the continent is very complementary with our technical focus on building liquidity for the asset class.â€
The LSF was established in November 2021 at the COP26 in Glasgow to improve African sovereign debt sustainability and, through its participation with African governments and private investors, contribute to the enhancement of liquidity in the market on par with international standards.
James Kuate, co-founder of Qantara AM, adds: "Together, we aim to shine a new light on this promising asset class while actively financing Africa's future.
“This partnership is a natural evolution for both organisations as we seek to showcase the tremendous untapped potential of African eurobonds."
Kuate co-founded the asset management firm with Alain William in Paris in 2022 to act as a bridge between Africa and international markets, contribute to the financing of African governments, and to facilitate access to international financial products for investors on the continent.
